Abstract

the article deals with the constitutional characteristics of the Russian state and their interrelation, and the elections as an important and integral tool of democracy. The relevance of research is caused by sweeping social transformations dictated by the times and changes in the procedure for organizing and conducting elections. The search for the best model of representation is quite justified.
