Abstract

The article discusses conceptual approaches in the US and Russian legislation relating to the fight against terrorism. The organizational basis of anti-terrorism activity has been determined, the goals, objectives, subjects and objects of terrorist activity have been highlighted. Attention is paid to the ideological component of terrorism.
