Bankruptcy of individuals in Russia: the legal aspect of the sale of a single luxury home

Abstract

The scientific article examines the legal aspect of the realization of the only luxury home of an individual in the bankruptcy procedure in Russia. On this topic, such problems as the lack of legislative consolidation of the right to sell the only surplus housing, the criterion for determining the luxury of a single residential object, as well as the procedure for the sale of a single excess dwelling are investigated. In addition, the ways of solving the above problems to ensure compliance with the rights of creditors and debtors are proposed.
