Abstract

The article carried out a comprehensive study of the provisions of the legislation in terms of the development and organizational improvement of local self-government in an internally unified complex of bodies exercising public power in the state. The paper studies the norms of federal legislation, legal acts of specific municipalities, which include the procedure for electing the heads of municipalities.
