Abstract

The article presents a summary of the theory of the method of chromatography, chromatography is views and methods that are most commonly and successfully used in forensic purposes. It describes the application of a method of research of objects of plant origin and presents a study of tobacco by TLC. It dwells on the problem of the spread of new psychoactive substances that have unknown legal status and the possibility of a preliminary study by TLC. The place and importance of TLC in forensic investigations carried out in the relevant departments is defined at the present stage.
