Abstract

In the present article the author classifies the semantic and stylistic shortcomings identified by the analysis of oral communication of the media of administrative sociolect. The author makes an assumption about the dynamic communicative competence of the representatives of state and municipal management, which implies the mixing of official and business and conversational styles, the use of emotionally-colored vocabulary, the expansion of the boundaries of lexical compatibility.
