Abstract

According to the Federal constitutional law of 21.07.1994 N 1 “On the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation” the Constitutional Court decisions are required for all public authorities and local government, natural and legal persons. The obligation to execute the decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation seriously affects the judicial practice of courts of law, including the courts of Vladimir region. This contributes to formation of general court jurisprudence and general interpretation of legal provisions. The authors of the present article examine the Constitutional Court decisions of the Russian Federation like a special type of sources of constitutional law. The article analyses the jurisprudence of the courts of Vladimir region to help to establish whether the judges are guided by the legal provisions of the Constitutional Court decisions.
