Causes and conditions of penitentiary crime in the field of drug trafficking

Abstract

the article is devoted to the consideration of the peculiarities of the determination of penitentiary crime in the field of drug trafficking. The authors analyze the causes and conditions of committing crimes related to illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in the institutions of the penal system. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the causal complex of penitentiary crime in the field of drug trafficking is very diverse, has a multifactorial nature and requires a comprehensive, systematic approach to the organization and implementation of drug crime prevention.
