Abstract

The article examines the principle of professionalism and competence, the level of ownership of which by state and municipal employees, the well-being of the population and the quality of life of citizens depends on. Skills, abilities and knowledge that are part of the principle of professionalism and competence, according to the author, need to be constantly improved and developed by state and municipal employees, as the quality of performance of their duties and functions depends on the knowledge and skills of the employees.
