International legal framework for countering illicit drug trafficking

Abstract

the article is devoted to the consideration of the international legal framework for countering illicit drug trafficking since the formation of this direction of international policy. The author considers the international legal system of countering drug trafficking in the context of the legal institution of countering offenses in Russia, formed by three main directions: prevention of offenses, combating them and minimizing and eliminating the consequences of offenses.
