The price of crime and its place in the system of combating crime in Russia

Abstract

In the article, the author touched upon one of the directions of combating crime – minimizing and eliminating its consequences. It is noted that there is a need to distinguish between two terms: "the consequences of crime" and "the price of crime". The article analyzes various approaches in defining the concept of the price of crime. The author critically examines each of the presented positions. As a result, the author substantiates the existence of ethical and logical problems in the term "the price of crime" and concludes that it is unacceptable when assessing the consequences of crime
