Current problems of reforming the institute of municipal control in the Russian Federation

Abstract

The article analyzes the legislation on municipal control in the Russian Federation, including the federal law "On State Control (Supervision) and Municipal Control in the Russian Federation". The problems of the existing concept of municipal control and ways to resolve them in connection with the adoption of a completely new legislative act regulating this area are investigated. The main conclusions made as a result of the analysis and comparison carried out indicate the need for further improvement of the legal regulation of legal relations arising in connection with the implementation of control and supervisory functions by public authorities.
