Some aspects of comparative analysis of the Institute of Referendum and the Institute of All-Russian Voting

Abstract

The article demonstrates the history of the issue of the introduction of the institute of all-Russian voting, at which constitutional amendments were approved in 2020. Some differences between the institute of the all-Russian vote and the institute of the referendum are shown, in particular, in the following issues: the ratio of the list of legal sources of the two institutions, the ratio of the list of persons and organizations that are potential initiators of these events, as well as the ratio of the list of persons and organizations that have the right to be observers and appoint them.
