Historical truth as a new constitutional and legal category

Abstract

The article analyzes the concept of "historical truth", the positions of scientists, on the basis of which the author's interpretation of the constitutional and legal provision under consideration is given. The multidimensional nature of such a concept is emphasized, and the risks of its lack of legal interpretation are shown. An attempt is made to formulate the concepts of "protection of historical truth" and "mechanism of protection of historical truth". The algorithm of the mechanism of protection of historical truth is also presented.
