Problems of criminal liability for fakes translation

Abstract

The presented scientific article is devoted to the analysis of criminal liability for fakes. The author considers two stages of amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The first stage is related to countering the spread of false information about coronavirus infection, it was marked by the addition of two new articles to the law: Article 207.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Article 207.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The second stage was associated with the beginning of a special military operation in Ukraine and the appearance of information containing false information about the actions of military personnel involved in its conduct. In this case, three new articles appeared in the Criminal Law: Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Article 284.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The author analyzes the signs of the above compositions and cites judicial practice.
