Abstract

The article presents the components of Russian federalism in the context of the modern political and legal system of Russia. The analysis of constitutional legislation, judicial practice, and scientific reflections of scientists allowed the authors to work out the characteristic features of the issue under consideration and identify a number of problematic aspects hindering the development of this form of government related to economic inequality and national priorities.
