Securing the right of legislative initiative for the prosecutor general of the Russian Federation

Abstract

Рассматриваемая научная статья посвящена изучению вопроса о необходимости закрепления за Генеральным прокурором Российской Федерации права законодательной инициативы. В рамках исследования авторами приводятся аргументы в пользу предоставления такого права данному должностному лицу, анализируется исторический и зарубежный опыт. По итогу исследования делается вывод о необходимости предоставления Генеральному прокурору Российской Федерации права законодательной инициативы. Аnnotation. This scientific article is devoted to the study of the need to secure the right of legislative initiative for the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation. As part of the study, the authors present arguments in favor of granting such a right to this official, and analyze historical and foreign experience. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that it is necessary to grant the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation the right of legislative initiative.
