Legal education of youth: theoretical aspects, problems and ways and solutions

This article is devoted to one of the most relevant topics in public law sciences - legal education of youth. The paper analyzes strategic regulations, which indicate the importance of this topic, as well as the main provisions of the national doctrine. Special attention is paid to the activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation and the Commissioners for human rights in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, whose activities are aimed at improving the legal culture of young people through awareness of the values of the rule of law, protection of rights and freedoms by lawful means and striving to respect the rights of others. The author analyzed the activities of youth councils under the Commissioners for human Rights, identified certain trends in the development of legal education for young people. As recommendations, the author of this article has identified the main tasks of legal education in the activities of youth councils under the plenipotentiaries in the subjects of the Russian Federation. Thus, the main goal of legal education of young people today is the formation, development and organization of the theoretical foundations of legal consciousness, legal culture, the acquisition of legal knowledge, the development of legal interests and legal thinking, which further contribute to the formation of a scientific legal worldview.
