International assistance as a tool of "soft power"

Abstract

The article assesses the impact of a new tool of the foreign policy impact mechanism in the form of assisting countries through this economic and political events in the world (in connection with the situation in Ukraine), and through this, to promote international development, which at the present stage has become of practical importance. From the policy of rendering assistance on international development projects, the prestige of the state, its status and foreign policy capabilities are increasingly dependent. It is this intervention by the US and the use of "soft power" in Ukraine that have shown the effectiveness of such a tool that has made it possible to seriously consolidate its positions in this country and to create in it stable centers of influence.
