Abstract

the article gives the concept of extremism, defines the legal and organizational basis for counteracting extremist activities. The author emphasizes that one of the sources of threats to the national security of the Russian Federation recognized extremist activity. Suggests some directions of counteraction to extremism in the Russian Federation.
