Requirements to teachers of higher education as organizers of the academic process

Abstract

The paper considers modern requirements to teachers of higher education institutions as organizers of the academic process. The author presents his view on students` upbringing. The article presents a survey of recent publications on psychological and pedagogical issues, as well as the author` s substantial personal experience. Major qualities which characterize a university teacher in terms of individual style and pedagogical expertise are distinguished and offered for discussion.
