Geographical indication as a new form of intellectual property rights in civil law

Abstract

the Article is devoted to the study of a new type of intellectual property rights, its legal protection. The authors analyze the draft law providing for the introduction of a new object of copyright in civil circulation, the conditions for obtaining its legal protection for entrepreneurs. The new object is compared with the existing one - the name of the place of origin of the goods, as a result of which its positive sides are revealed.
