Difficulty of Russia's interaction with countries of the Commonwealth
Abstract
The article explored the reasons for the complex interactions of Russia with the countries of the Commonwealth and the multi-vector nature of their development after the collapse of the USSR, taking into account the need to integrate into world space and solve the problem of finding the optimal balance between the CIS countries. The ambiguous attitude of the world community after the collapse of the USSR to the CIS institution was defined, first as a security guarantor in the post-Soviet space and subsequently in the striving of the United States and Western countries to resist integration processes in the post-Soviet space and Russia's leading role in this. (particularities of confession and previous ties), chose different forms of multi-vector development.
