Abstract

the article investigates the nature of the origin of the term fake news; considered the prototypes of fakes; studied the Russian and international experience of combating the spread of falsified information and statutory liability measures, defined the competence and powers of regulatory and Supervisory bodies for the implementation of PP.9-11 Art. 13.15 administrative Code of the Russian Federation, and also revealed a number of problems related to the practical implementation of the established legal requirements for protection from fake information.
