Creative economy is the key direction of innovation

Abstract

The article considers a set of indicators of innovative development of different countries of the world, the index of innovative cities, the place of Russia in this comparative analysis, analyzes trends and prospects for development in this direction. The paper characterizes the weaknesses of the innovation activity of the Russian Federation and reveals new opportunities through the development of a creative economy.
