Main forms of procedural activity during the conduct of an inquiry in an abbreviated form

Abstract

Federal Law of 04.03.2013 No. 23-FZ introduced Chapter 32.1 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation "Inquiry in an abbreviated form". Having analyzed the materials of 70 criminal cases in which an inquiry was conducted in an abbreviated form and which were considered by the courts of the Vladimir region in the period from 2016 to 2021, the author describes the main forms and subjects of procedural activity during the conduct of an inquiry in an abbreviated form. The author identifies five forms (stages, periods) of procedural activity during the conduct of an inquiry in an abbreviated form.
