Implementation of proactive budgeting practices through citizens’

Based on the analysis of the regulatory legal framework, the article examines the specifics of implementing the practice of initiative budgeting through the participation of citizens in the program to support local initiatives in the Ivanovo region. An initiative group of citizens, a CBT or a village head can initiate the project, independently determine the territory for landscaping and take labor and financial participation in its improvement. After passing the competitive selection process and the implementation of the project by the local administration, residents participate in the public acceptance of the facility, which allows them to participate directly in the development of their settlements.
